Engela Decor and Styling started 10 years ago after I realised how many people try to sell their homes without proper styling.  So many houses are going through an open house process showcasing all the wrong aspects and spaces.  We expanded further to upstyle and restyle homes for clients wanting a new look and style to their home.

I started studying as a home decorator whilst staying at home and tending my three children. As all my friends started buying their family homes and renovating/re-decorating and asking for advice on furniture, styling and general renovation ideas, I soon realised that this is what I wanted to do.  

10 years on and I am still as passionate about the creativity and energy my ideas creates with the bonus of some seriously happy customer faces. 

My decorating style celebrates the perfectly imperfect and the understated beauty of a design.  I use the little and try to make the most of whatever you have, to find the harmony by adding the new or on trend.  

You will be left with the essential and forget about the rest.

While certain decor can create a pleasant diversion, clutter distracts from whatever calm our homes provide.  My services includes a declutter session to make your home as comforting and carefree as possible.  Your home should inspire and rejuvenate you, and by paring down the essence you will not remove poetry.
